NACCTEP is hosting its first virtual conference series being held across four Fridays in April 2021 from 9:00 – 10:30 AM MST (AZ) with dynamic speakers lined up for each Zoom session.
When NACCTEP began planning an in-person NACCTEP conference to be held in Phoenix, it became clear early on that circumstances due to the current pandemic made the idea of an in-person event too unpredictable, especially with so many states and institutions restricting or banning non-essential travel. Thus was born the first ever NACCTEP Virtual Conference Series.
This is the conference series for educational professionals to learn about social justice in education, educator ethics, Cyber Ethics, and the future of technology in education. The speakers we’ve lined up are: April 9th - Wesley Williams of Westat on And How Are the Children: The Urgency for Culturally Responsive Practice; April 16th - Dr. Troy Hutchings of NASDTEC on Now, More Than Ever: Professional Ethics in the Pandemic Era; April 23rd - Fred Lane, author, on Cybertraps for Educators 2.0 -- The Cyberethics of Remote Learning; and on April 30th - Jaime Casap, Education Evangelist on The Problem-Solving Generation. Conference participants will consist of students and professionals in community college programs, education partners, and personnel from around the country.
The support of sponsors directly contributes to the success of this conference series. Sponsorships allow NACCTEP to conduct high quality, informative, and collaborative sessions. We have multiple sponsorship levels available. All sponsorship levels include being featured on the NACCTEP website conference page, on NACCTEP social media platforms announcing that session, inclusion in all emails related to that session, as well as being mentioned at the beginning and ending of that particular session.
Your support will greatly contribute to NACCTEP’S vision of ensuring that all children have a quality teacher in their classroom. Don’t miss this extraordinary opportunity to market your services, programs, and products. We sincerely hope that you will choose to support this exciting conference series. We look forward to working with you.
